Virtual Convocation

The Department of Geological Sciences held a virtual convocation to honor the graduating class of 2020 after what has certainly been an unusual and challenging semester. Faced with these challenges, the graduating class displayed a level of commitment and perseverance that has been inspiring to the entire department. We look forward to seeing what incredible things they do next! A special congratulations to the Department's Outstanding Graduate Student Award receipient, Rachel Hohn, and to the two (there was a tie!) Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award recipients, Adam Brackman and Christian Hoover. Watch the convocation ceremony in its entirety here. Read more
