Ambassador Liu, accompanied by Education Office director Dong Yuan and Education consul Liqun Li, will donate thousands of Chinese books, CDs, DVDs, and other learning materials to the College of Humanities' Barbara Ann Ward Language Lab and CSUN's Oviatt Library. The materials will be made available to all CSUN students and will particularly enhance Chinese language and culture learning for students en-rolled in China Studies and language courses offered through Humanities. Speakers at the ceremony include President Dianne Harrison, Ambassador Liu, College of Humanities dean Elizabeth Say, China Institute director Justine Su, and Oviatt Library dean Mark Stover. The CSUN Women's Chorale, which has performed at sister universities on multiple trips to China, will sing two Chinese songs for the delegations and the audience.
