Albuca, Boophone, Calibanus, Eucrosia, Lachenalia, Ornithogalum, Tricyrtis, Zephyranthes—exotic-sounding names for some of the bulbs that can be grown in southern California. Like cherished friends that arrive with a visual fanfare of blooms, bulbs share their beautiful display, and then go away.
