Welcome Back from Dean Shari Tarver Behring

Shari Tarver Behring

Welcome back to the 2022-23 academic year! As our college moves forward this fall, we do so with strong student enrollment and programs, exceptional faculty, staff, and students, amazing school and community partners, and a passionate commitment to social justice in all that we do. As we ensure support, success, and belongingness for our College of Education community, our department offices, credential office, and Dean’s office are open in-person five days a week. In addition, we are offering classes both in-person and virtually or hybrid, when appropriate, in order to extend greater flexibility to our students. As always, our college top priorities continue to be the success of our students and programs, and the safety and well-being of our students, staff, faculty, and the community we serve. Updated campus safety information, including information about CSUN requirements for COVID vaccinations and masks, can be found at the COVID-19 Information page. In addition, we continue to offer self-care information at our college website https://www.csun.edu/eisner-education/self-care. CSUN campus-wide healing and wellness resources, activity updates, and recorded wellness presentations can also be found at one centralized location on the CSUN Revitalize website. To learn more and sign up for a regular newsletter, go to https://www.csun.edu/revitalize. We look to the future with hope, optimism, and resiliency.

Warmest wishes for a safe and successful fall semester, and know that the Michael D. Eisner College of Education is here to support you!

Teacher Appreciation Week 2020

May 8, 2020

A red apple with a green leaf on a stem

This Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to thank all of the hard-working and life-shaping teachers out there - whether they be in K-12 or higher-education settings - for the tireless dedication and care poured into their work, students, and community. We also want to extend our thanks to healthcare workers and first responders for keeping us safe and healthy, especially in this very difficult time for them. We see you and appreciate all you do!
