Choral music has long held a place of distinction at California State University, Northridge. For over 30 years, our ensembles have earned acclaim for outstanding performances at state and national conferences, as well as internationally across Europe and Russia. Students who participate in CSUN Choirs gain a strong foundation in choral music education and performance, exploring a diverse range of musical genres while building skills that support careers in solo singing, opera, conducting, teaching, music administration, and beyond. We believe that choir builds leadership and teamwork skills that are valuable and applicable to any career path!

Whether you’re majoring in music, engineering, psychology, or anything in between—if you love to sing, there’s a place for you in CSUN Choirs. Our ensembles are a vibrant space to build community, make lasting friendships, and be part of world-class musical experiences. Recent highlights include collaborations with the CSUN Symphony Orchestra on masterworks such as the Requiems of Mozart, Brahms, and Fauré, as well as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
