The program features traditional Chinese music (including Tea-picking Dance Music, Pipa solo: Dance of the Yi People, and Percussion Quartet: Golden Pheasant Going out of Mountain), Yue Opera (The Butterfly Lovers: Eighteen- miles Sendoff), and Chinese dances and Jazz. CSUN music faculty and students will have joint performances with Chinese artists.

The event is free and open to the public. Families with kids are welcome. A reception will be held after the performance and all are welcome to join.

This lecture is sponsored by CSUN China Institute and CSUN Department of Music. Many thanks to the Culture Office at Los Angeles Consulate-General of China for their help to bring this event to CSUN.
