When to Register
Each fall and spring semester has three registration periods in which you enroll, adjust your schedule and use the features of the self-service registration system.
- Visit the Registration Calendar for current and future semester dates.
- Visit the How-To Guides for help with adding classes, dropping, swapping and more.

Payment Deadline
Tuition and other mandatory fees are due at the time of registration but no later than the payment due date, which arrives before classes begin.
- Be sure to pay for your classes on time to avoid disenrollment!
- If enrolling after the payment deadline, payment is due at the time of registration.
If you are a financial aid recipient with enough anticipated aid to cover tuition and other fees, you do not need to pay at the time of registration.
- Anticipated aid is aid awarded to you and accepted by you that has not yet been paid into your CSUN student account.
- Learn more at How to View Anticipated Aid and Outstanding Charges.
When adding classes or adjusting your schedule, always check your account balance for the amount you owe. Learn more at Financial Account Information Guide.
