- Registration-by-Appointment - By appointment only
- Nonrestrictive Registration - No appointment necessary
- Late Registration/Schedule Adjustment - Starts the first weekday of classes

Most Summer Classes - 2022
Most summer classes are offered on a self-support basis through the Tseng College (extension). Different rules, deadlines and fees may apply to students enrolling in summer courses through extension. Read more at Tseng College Summer.
STAY RIGHT HERE and use the guidelines in this state-support Summer Term Registration Calendar if you are:
- Admitted to one of the special state-supported, year-round cohort programs listed below.
- A CSUN student who has received the Summer Enrollment SPRINT Grant. SPRINT students will be notified in April of their eligibility to enroll and the list of eligible classes. Eligibility in a previous year does not indicate eligibility in the current year. Find the SPRINT class list and more.
Special Year-Round Cohort Programs
You are eligible to enroll in summer classes that are part of a special year-round cohort program if you have been formally admitted to the program. The cohort programs offering summer courses are:
- Associate Degree in Nursing to BS in Nursing (ADN-BSN Community College Collaboratives)
- Master of Science in Athletic Training (MS)
- Master of Social Work (MSW)
- Doctoral Program in Audiology (AuD)
- Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership (EdD)
- Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy (DPT)
Permission numbers are required to enroll in summer 2022 special year-round cohort courses at all times. Please contact your program advisor for assistance.
How to Register
Eligible, matriculated CSUN students should:
- First obtain a registration appointment on a "first come, first served" basis.
- Then enroll in classes during the Registration-by-Appointment period and after.
- Maximum unit load: 13 units for all summer sessions combined

Look up year-round cohort classes in Class Search. No login is required. Select the following options from the search field drop-down menus:
- Term: "2225 - Summer Term 2022"
- Session: "State Supported Courses"
- Subject/Department: Select your cohort program.
- Click the Quick Search button.
If you're also taking credit classes outside of the year-round cohort programs listed above, select "The Tseng College - Credit" from the Class Search drop-down menu "Session" field.
