Good to Know

  • Select the links below the Student Account Information table to view Holds, your Financial Aid To-Do List, or Alerts (not shown) for payment reminders. (The links won't display if you don’t have any holds, you are not receiving financial aid, or you have completed all financial aid tasks.)

  • In the Charges Outstanding by Due Date table, the red OPT OUT link is for the per-term, voluntary Student Involvement and Representation Fee (SIRF) to help fund the Cal State Student Association, a student-run organization serving all CSU students.

Step 5

The Charges Outstanding by Due Date table shows only your charges in four columns: by term, charge type, payment due date and charge amount. Note the deadline in the Due Date column!

Important!

  • Avoid disenrollment. Pay tuition and other fees in full by the published due date. Payments made after the deadline will not prevent disenrollment.

  • Check your account balance whenever you adjust your class schedule. You may owe additional fees or be eligible for a refund each time you add, drop or swap classes.

  • Pay on time! Payment is always due at the time of registration. However, each fall and spring semester have only ONE payment deadline about a week before classes begin. Summer term payment deadlines vary by session. After the deadline for any term, you must pay as soon as you register. Find exact deadlines at payment due dates.

If finished, you can:

  • Navigate to the Student Center using the drop-down menu and “go” button (shown below).

  • Select the CSUN Payment button to pay outstanding charges. Visit How to Pay Your Fees.

  • Sign out of this page and return to the CSUN Portal. Remember to log out (not shown)!
