Oscar Granados

Undergraduate Student:

Oscar Granados is running for the CSUN USU Board of Directors to represent student voices and help Matadors feel heard and connected on campus. He is committed to enhancing student resources to help Matadors surpass their academic, professional, and personal goals.

Rudy Granillo

Graduate Student:
Design Innovation

Rudy Granillo is a first-generation student, parent scholar, and campus leader committed to strengthening student support and opportunity at CSUN regardless of background. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the University Student Union Board of Directors and Lead Project Manager at IntersectLA, CSUN’s creative agency, where he leads teams of student creatives. Rudy advocates for expanding access to student resources, professional development, and programs that strengthen equity and engagement across campus. He is deeply committed to empowering the matadors of today and tomorrow. 

Kori Higgins

Undergraduate Student:
Psychology with a minor in Africana Studies

Kori Higgins is committed to consistently serving every student here at CSUN so they feel heard, supported and prioritized throughout their times both on and off this campus. As a psychology major who values service to the community, Kori is passionate about advocating for students and promoting mental wellbeing while helping create opportunities for student success and growth.

With experience as the Membership Chair for the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) Kori focuses on building community through networking, while also encouraging student involvement and highlighting the diversity that strengthens CSUN. Honored to be running for candidacy Kori is dedicated to being a strong voice for students and helping create a more inclusive and supportive campus environment.

Mahi Kachhadiya

Undergraduate Student:
Computer Science

Mahi Kachhadiya is a Computer Science student at CSUN who serves as a Senator for the College of Engineering & Computer Science, a mentor in the CSUN Mentorship Program, a math tutor, and a member of the USU Board of Directors Personnel Committee. Through these roles, she works closely with a diverse student body and understands the challenges students face, driving her commitment to advocacy and meaningful change. She is running for the USU Board of Directors to amplify student voices, strengthen transparency and communication, and create a more inclusive and engaging campus environment. Mahi is dedicated to expanding awareness of resources, building stronger connections between students and leadership, and making a lasting impact on the CSUN community.

Christopher G. Mulrooney

Christopher G. Mulrooney is pleased to be running for the USU Board of Directors. As a member of the USU Board of Directors for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Committee, he works to ensure that every student’s voice is heard and valued. A veteran of the U.S. Army and a current member of the Student Veterans Organization, he understands the importance of leadership, service, and accountability. As a non-traditional student, he brings real-world experience, maturity, and a strong work ethic. He is committed to representing all students and providing the Board of Directors with experienced and dedicated leadership.

He believes that strong student representation and open communication are key to building a better campus community. Bharath is passionate about promoting student involvement, improving access to campus resources, and supporting initiatives that enhance both academic and student life.

Running in the 2026 elections, Bharath is honored for the opportunity to represent his peers. He is dedicated to listening to student voices, advocating for meaningful change, and working collaboratively to make a positive and lasting impact on the campus community.

Princy Savaliya is a junior majoring in Professional Accounting who is passionate about supporting and empowering fellow students. As a Peer Mentor and volunteer with CSUN VITA, she has dedicated her time to helping others succeed both academically and personally. Princy is committed to strengthening student resources and ensuring that every student feels represented, supported, and heard. If elected to the Student Union Board of Directors, she will advocate for greater inclusivity, diversity, and opportunities that enhance the student experience for all.

Kimbery Vaquerano

Undergraduate Student:
Criminology & Justice Studies

Kimberly Vaquerano believes in inclusivity and student involvement, so that student views are considered in important decisions in helping the campus improve, benefiting current and future Matadors. As someone who has kept to herself and held few leadership roles, she sees this opportunity as a chance to grow and learn, while doing so, to be a voice for CSUN students. She hopes to represent not only students who feel confident in their voice, but also students who may be more reserved but still have valuable ideas and perspectives to bring to the table. She would be honored to serve as a representative for students on the Board of Directors to help represent student interests and leave a good mark on the University Student Union to strengthen the CSUN community.
