Tea Haven

The upcoming workshop on Monday, April 14, from 2:00pm-3:30pm in the Marilyn Magaram Center Smart Garden, focusing on promoting wellness through music therapy and art techniques. Students will learn the practice of helping diffuse thoughts by observing and accepting them without judgment. Our workshops are FREE and open to all CSUN students. Sangha

Join the Sangha at CSUN for weekly group mindfulness practice sessions led by trained facilitators. The aim of this group is to provide a communal space for CSUN students, faculty, staff, administrators, and external community members to engage in meditation and mindfulness practices together. Chirpy

CSUN Human Resources has partnered with Kaiser Permanente to introduce to you a new 4-week online physical wellness program called Chirpy! The Chirpy Challenge is open to all CSUN employees, Associated Students, The University Corporation, University Student Union, and Student Employees. Get ready to boost your energy and optimism in Chirpy, the whimsical, captivating wellness program with a songbirds theme. Registration opens on March 26th and the program runs from Monday, April 7 – Sunday, May 4, 2025. Be sure to sign up for Chirpy before close of business, Monday, April 14, 2025. This program is free, and you just might win a prize!

Mindfulness Stress Reduction

The MBSR class consists of 2.5-hour in-person sessions each week for 8 weeks. Home assignments and guided meditation audio files are available online. Throughout the program, you will apply the practices learned to help manage the challenges and demands of everyday life.

Sessions for 2025
Winter/Spring: January 10 - March 14, 2025
Spring/Summer: April 25 - June 13, 2025
Summer/Fall: August 15 - October 17, 2025

EIM-OC Walk for Your Heart Walking Challenge

EIM-OC (Exercise is Medicine On Campus) is a global movement led by ACSM to integrate physical activity into campus life. Walking is one of the simplest, most effective ways to enhance health and wellbeing. Join us for a walking challenge, February 10th - April 7th. The goal is to walk 1,000,000 community steps, and this challenge is open to students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
