It's been quite a semester and you've made it! If you're now ready for professional development to help you go from surviving teaching online, to thriving and enjoying teaching online, here are a number of programs to consider joining this summer!

Summer Bootcamps

June, July and August, 2020
$100-$150 stipend per Bootcamp series
These 90-minute to two-hour sessions provide an in-depth review of key concepts from basic to advanced skill level. Bootcamp topics include Assignments, Quiz, Engagement, Lecture Recording, Virtual Meetings, Learning Analytics, and Accessibility

Get Up to Speed with Online Teaching

Available from June 1 – August 1, 2020
$200 stipend
This pedagogy PLUS technology program is available all summer, done at your own pace with optional synchronous sessions where experts help you along.

 

OR, would you prefer to dive into a technology-only synchronous intensive?

Zero to Online
June 15 – 25 and August 10 – 20, 2020
$500 stipend
This nine-session series covers the core proficiencies to use instructional technology to teach in a virtual environment. Each day covers a new set of topics and includes hands-on activities.


Are you comfortable with the technology and ready to design your course using a quality lens that applies evidence-based practices?

Available from July 1 – August 1, 2020
$750 stipend

Ready to focus on the pedagogical quality when building your fall course using Quality Learning & Teaching (QLT) standards? Work with a faculty mentor to get personalized feedback in this asynchronous and optional synchronous sessions.

Already know how to build an online course and prefer guidance next year in a faculty learning community? Explore evidence-based pedagogies (active learning, equity, learning- centered teaching) & earn a certificate in Effective College Instruction.
