Get Up to Speed with Online Teaching
Good news for anyone who didn’t get a chance to participate in the Getting Up to Speed with Online Teaching program this summer. Faculty Development will be re-launching the program this Fall in collaboration with the Faculty Technology Center. If you are interested, please fill out this interest form. And for everyone who participated this summer, the course will remain open for you as a resource site.
Summer 2020 Bootcamp Videos
Over the summer, the FTC conducted several Bootcamps covering technology-based teaching tools available at CSUN. These 90-minute to two-hour recordings provide an in-depth review of key concepts from basic to advanced skill level. Bootcamp topics include Assignments, Quiz, Engagement, Lecture Recording, Virtual Meetings, and Learning Analytics.
Faculty Technology Center Workshops

This summer, almost 100 faculty participated in the latest iteration of Faculty Development's eLearning Institute program that was specifically geared to help faculty apply the CSU Quality Learning and Teaching (QLT) Framework for online courses. The next eLearning Institute program is slated for this Winter. If you are interested in applying for the next cohort, please fill out the eLearning interest form to receive updates.
