Update on Faculty Hiring Equity Initiative (updated May 2022)

The Equity in Faculty Hiring Toolkit will soon be made available.  Be sure to watch for updates!  CSUN is fully committed to advancing faculty diversity, and faculty searches are benefitting tremendously from new resources and processes.

Road Map to the Future  (updated May 2022)

The Road Map to the Future Finish Line Celebration happened on May 11, on campus and on Zoom.  The "Road Ahead" report, summarizing strategic directions and priorities, was posted on the Road Map website until May 19 for public review and comment.  Based on this additional input, a refined document will be released.

The Road Map to the Future is an inclusive, three-part strategy (Design, Engage and Synthesize) for the university based on the themes and feedback that emerged from President Beck’s 100-day listening tour. The Steering Committee of the Road Map met regularly since October and subgroups were established to address themes of the President's listening tour. Following Town Hall meetings in December about the Road Map process, stakeholder meetings and focused conversations were held throughout the Engage phase.  For more details, please see
