Psychiatry Residency Program

University Counseling Services provides a third- or fourth-year rotation for psychiatric residents in the Mission Community Hospital Psychiatry Residency Training Program.

Through the rotation, residents enhance their skills in diagnosing and treating the unique mental health issues of a diverse college student population. Professional collaboration skills are also developed as residents consult with a multidisciplinary staff of mental health professionals to most effectively support whole-person client care. Residents may see up to six students per week and receive on-site psychiatric and therapeutic supervision.
