Outreach Presentations
Each semester, University Counseling Services offers a series of educational outreach workshops on academic, mental health, interpersonal and wellness topics.
Students, student organizations, faculty, staff and members of the CSUN community may request a presentation. We can collaborate with you to develop a presentation that fits your needs. Our presentations can be as short as 15 minutes or involve a series of multiple topics.
Topics routinely covered in our outreach workshops include
- Adjusting to College Life
- Anxiety Management
- Procrastination
- Stress management
- Relaxation
- Racial Justice/Allyship
- Depression
- Suicide Prevention Training
- Community Resilience Model Workshop
We also offer a range of presentations by our peer education programs on the following topics.
Overcoming Depression and Preventing Suicide (The BLUES Project)
Date or Acquaintance Rape Prevention Program (Project D.A.T.E)
Disordered Eating and Body Image Concerns (J.A.D.E)
