Fradulent Job Offers

It has come to our attention that CSUN students are receiving fraudulent job offers from people posing as reputable employers. The CSUN Career Center has not given your information to these employers.

If an employer requests you to deposit a check into your bank account, please do not deposit the check.

If the check was mailed through the US Postal Service, report it to the local police department as this is considered mail fraud.

Please use your own discretion when applying for any jobs online and if you are questioning the validity of a job offer please feel free to contact the CSUN Career Center.

Meet Your Peer Educators

The mission statement of the peer educator program is, "By building meaningful peer-to-peer interactions, we help students on their journey from academic to professional career."When you visit the Career Center, you will most likely meet a peer educator. The peer educators are here to help you get started. Our current peer educators are students like you who are familiar with the career development process and can speak to you about Career Center resources, resume and cover letter development, and job search strategies. They can also listen as you begin sorting out what your next steps should be. You may also see the career peer educators on campus as they share the resources of the Career Center. Check out our video for more information on our peer educators. You can contact the peer educators by either stopping by the Career Center located in Bayramian Hall 413, emailing us at  , or calling (818) 677-2878.

Keito Watanabe

Hi CSUN family! My name is Keito! I'm an international student from Tokyo! Currently, I'm a senior majoring in Marketing and minoring in Real Estate. The reason why I wanted to be a career peer educator is that I have a younger sister who is in high school, and I want to help her find the path that excites her. As a big sister, I love helping other folks and listening to everyone's unique stories. Feel free to stop by and talk to me always at the Career Center!
