Graduate Business Programs
The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics at CSUN offers graduate programs that will increase your career opportunities and earning potential. You will develop skills and abilities critical for a successful career in business, and gain more challenging, interesting work and personal satisfaction.
These part-time programs are designed for mid-career professionals with classes offered on evenings and/or weekends.
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a general business degree (concentrations available) that enhances your career, and also prepares you to switch careers or become an entrepreneur. The Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) is designed to prepare you to become a CPA and the Master of Science in Taxation (MST) prepares you for a variety of career options in taxation including public accounting, private industry, government, and non-profit. The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (GCBA) provides a foundation in business education for those with an undergraduate in fields other than business, and it also serves as an entrée into the CSUN Nazarian MBA for those who wish to pursue that path. The Nazarian College also hosts a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) offered by its partner school Grenoble Ecole de Management in France.
Nazarian College graduate programs combine academic rigor with real-world relevance. Students learn the business theory behind the subject matter and put what they have learned into practical application. The Nazarian College is highly-regarded, nationally accredited, and provides students an exceptionally well-rounded business education upon which to build their career.
In spring 2018, teams of California State University, Northridge undergraduates and graduate students accepted their awards for working tirelessly to produce comprehensive business plans to enter in the Small Business Institute© (SBI) national competition for Experiential Learning Project of the Year. Both teams placed second in their respective categories. Read more
