Information Technology Governance
Technology Infrastructure and Services Committee (TISC)
Charge/Mission:
This committee coordinates planning for information technology infrastructure and technical support services.
The committee:
- Is driven by the needs of the other IT governance committees; therefore, all proposals with infrastructural implications flow here
- Recommends and assists with the coordination of projects to improve University-wide technology support services
- Encourages service-oriented technology through stability, agility, and transparency
- Coordinates with the Web Communications Committee (WCC) to provide leadership for technical issues related to the University web environment such as web content management technology, web application software standards, digital content management, and web capacity planning
- Advises the Vice President for Information Technology on the development of policies that govern information security and the appropriate use of technology
