Job Requirements/Duties:
Under the supervision of the Lead Web Developer, design accessible and responsive web pages for CSUN Web and Mobile applications, including: administrative websites, the myNorthridge portal, and CSUN Mobile. The student assistant will participate in: user-centered design, concept development, specification and implementation for a wide variety of projects.
Qualifications:
Must have: portfolio of web projects, preferably live web pages (URLs) (e.g. student/class work), good visual, verbal and written communication skills, professional web design experience and/or a letter(s) of recommendation from professor(s), HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Preferred: knowledge of ADA/WAI/Section 508 compliance, image editing (Photoshop/GIMP), Flash, video, experience with databases and web services.
