SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING SPRING 2013 ADMISSION:

During the 2012-13 academic year, many California State University (CSU) campuses, including Northridge, will not be open for Spring 2013 admissions. The only exceptions for CSU, Northridge are noted below.

After submitting an application, find out what you need to do next. Go to the Admissions and Records home page and select the "I Have Applied" link for your student group (e.g., credential).

Initial Filing Period August 1 through August 31, 2012.
Undergraduate
Important Note: The next available term for previously disqualified students to apply for readmission is Fall 2013. See eligibility requirements at I Want to Apply.
First Time Freshmen CLOSED.
Lower Division Transfer CLOSED.
Upper Division Transfers CLOSED.

Fall 2013

Fall 2013 ADMISSION INFORMATION

Undergraduate
Initial Filing Period: October 1 through November 30, 2012.
Important Note: Documents from previously disqualified students are due by April 2, 2013. Please see requirements at I Want to Apply.
First Time Freshmen CLOSED.

SAT or ACT scores are required for all first-time freshmen and must be received by Admissions and Records no later than January 31, 2013 to be considered for admission.

Lower Division Transfer CLOSED.
Upper Division Transfers CLOSED.

All admission requirements must be completed by the end of the Spring 2013 semester. See Eligibility Requirements.
Cross Enrollment, Intrasystem Concurrent Enrollment, Intrasystem Visitor Enrollment CLOSED.
Graduate
Initial Filing Period Begins: October 1, 2012.
University applications for graduate programs will be accepted after the initial filing period until July 1, 2013. Individual graduate programs may have earlier closing dates, and the University online application will close on the Department's selected date. For individual program application deadlines, see Graduate Programs.
Credentials OPEN.
MA or MS OPEN.

The following master's degree programs are CLOSED: Art (MFA in Visual Arts); Biology; Chicana/o Studies; Communication Studies; Family and Consumer Sciences (Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Science option); Health Administration (MS); History; Music Education (MA); Public Health (MPH); Screenwriting; Social Work (MSW).
