Topics covered in workshops and in one-on-one meetings with the PAC include: Time-Management Skills, Note Taking, Effective Communication with Professors, Beating Test Anxiety, Self-Care, Health & Nutrition and much more. Email communication will be sent out to your CSUN email account soon.
Summer School Workshops
If you are considering taking courses during summer and would like to explore your options, please attend one of the Hub’s Summer School Workshops. We will be discussing the difference between taking courses here at CSUN vs a community college and answering any questions you may have. If you need advisement for what courses to take during the summer, please call our front desk at 818-677-2900 to ask about meeting with an advisor.
Pre-Health Workshop
If you are interested in learning about how to prepare for health profession graduate programs, please join us in the Pre-health workshop to learn about choosing a major, prerequisites, extracurricular activities, and how to get involved.
The workshop is geared towards students who are interested in going on to professional health care programs such as medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, veterinary, physician assistant and occupational therapy. This workshop is designed to ensure students have learned the basic information and can begin meeting the requirements for competitive application.
The Pre-Health Workshop is an opportunity to chat with CSUN’s Pre-Health advisor and engage in an interactive online workshop with other peers.
Check back for Pre-Health Workshops- Spring 2025 dates in early February 2025.
