If you are a first-time freshman and Admissions & Records officially approved your deferral from Fall 2020 admission to Spring 2021, the enrollment cycle will begin in November.
More information will be provided by mid-October 2020 with instructions how to sign up for one of the Spring 2021 New Student Advisement Workshops.
We provide Long Distance advisement for students living more than two hours away. Please be sure to complete the Pre-Enrollment Steps 1 through 3 and then send an email to email@example.com to request long distance advisement. Please be sure to include your full name, CSUN ID#, major, and your phone number.
Prior to registering for your Spring 2021 classes, you must first meet with an academic advisor with the Matador Advising Hub.
Before you may schedule an advisement appointment, you will be required to complete the Hub online workshop. Instructions for accessing the workshop will be sent to your CSUN email.
Freshmen with declared majors who began CSUN in Fall 2020 (and have less than 30 units) will continue to be advised by the Hub until early May 2021.
Freshmen with declared majors who began CSUN in Fall 2019 or earlier have transitioned to their major advisors. To find the appropriate advisement office, visit I’m a Continuing Student.
Exploratory students will continue to be advised at the Hub until they declare a major.
EOP students are served by the Student Services Center/EOP Satellite for their academic college.
Students interested in finding out more information about attending CSUN may contact the Office of Outreach & Recruitment.
