A Stitch & Glitch in Time brings together thirteen Los Angeles-based artists who use textiles to explore technology, fashion, and collective histories. Los Angeles has a long history in textile production, both for industrial use and artistic expression. The processes and materials utilized by these artists embody this long and complex history – highlighting how textiles can simultaneously be highly personal objects while revealing the larger economic and social circumstances they were created within.
