Upcoming Exhibitions
This year, CSUN Art Galleries will host a series of three West Gallery exhibitions about local San Fernando Valley-based arts organizations. Additional organizations to Tierra del Sol are: Tia Chucha's Centro Cultural, a non-profit learning bookstore and cultural center that transforms community through ancestral knowledge, the arts, literacy, and creative engagement; and 11:11 Projects, an artist-run collective that empowers artists with the tools to create justice-centered, community uniting art in public space. The exhibitions will highlight these important organizations’ many creative contributions to the cultural fabric of the Valley. Although the three organizations serve varied missions and people, they each exemplify the power of art to nurture growth, build empowerment, and forge community.
