Welcome to the Study Abroad and Exchange Information Sessions page! The International & Exchange Student Center offers information sessions to help you navigate your way to the study abroad/exchange experience that is just right for you!
Congratulations on taking your first steps toward studying abroad, we look forward to helping you get to your desired destination!
The International and Exchange Student Center offers regular information sessions during the year to encourage students to learn more about the study abroad and exchange opportunities available at CSUN. Requests for accommodation services (e.g., sign language interpreters or transcribers) must be made at least five (5) business days in advance. Please contact the Study Abroad Advisors no less than five (5) business days prior to your desired session to request that accommodation services be provided.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program Tutorials offer a "Fulbright 101" -- providing basic information about the program, applicant qualifications and application components. Each tutorial focuses on a portion of the greater Fulbright U.S. Student Program in 10-15 minute videos. Accessible 24/7, these tutorials help applicants begin the process of determining which Fulbright U.S. Student Program offering is right for them, and beginning the application process.

- The Fulbright Program Vimeo and YouTube Channels highlight grantees and alumni through video-we visit alumni, talk to grantees, and dig into what Fulbrighters are doing on the ground.
In addition to the information sessions offered by the International & Exchange Student Center (see schedule above), the National Student Exchange (NSE) central office also offers virtual information sessions during the fall and spring semesters. Any questions regarding these sessions should be directed to info@nse.org.
Join the CSUN Study Abroad Team for these virtual sessions to go over CSUN study abroad & exchange applications and the Gilman Scholarship application, with step-by-step walk-throughs, application tips, and time for general questions.

Study Abroad & Exchange Application Walk-Through Sessions (Presentation)
Attend a CSUN Study Abroad application walk-through session for a step-by-step overview of the study abroad and exchange application process. During this session, staff will demonstrate how to open an application and explain each required component. This session is presentation-based, with time for general questions at the end, and is not intended for individual application advising.

Study Abroad & Exchange Application Drop-In Hours (Advisement)
Join the CSUN Study Abroad Team for virtual drop-in application hours to receive individualized support with your study abroad or exchange application. Students may drop in at any time during the session to ask questions and get application tips. No registration is required, and students do not need to attend the full session.
