September marks EOP Month at all CSU campuses across the state. California State University, Northridge and the Educational Opportunity Programs (EOP) are proud to host its annual commemorative event to celebrate 49 years of continuous student success through mentoring, academic and advising services.
Join EOP at CSUN on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 12:00pm – 2:30pm for our free celebratory event hosted at Bayramian Hall Lawn. All campus community is welcome to partake in trivia games, food and raffles put on by different student organizations.
Since its inception in 1969, EOP at CSUN aims to serve historically underrepresented, low-income, first-generation college students by providing them with access to academic services and support. EOP Month takes a moment to reflect on the program’s history and invites the rest of the student body and community to celebrate 49 years of success.
We are also looking ahead to our 50th anniversary conference next year, with its celebratory theme of “Changing lives through continuous innovation.”
CSUN is one of the most diverse higher learning institutions in the nation today. EOP at CSUN aims to provide educational opportunities to those who have been traditionally excluded from higher education.
