Candidate Filing:

Elections Filing Opens Online - Tuesday February 10th, 8:00am

  • All candidates must file online

Elections Filing Closes - Friday February 27th, 6:00pm

Election Packet Forms Submission Date - Friday February 27th, 6:00pm

All candidates must submit these forms:

  • Academic Eligibility Check
  • Clean Campaign Pledge
  • Press Release Agreement
  • Elections Candidate Agreement

Election Process:

Mandatory Candidate Orientation Meeting

  • Day 1 - Tuesday March 10th
    • Session 1: 11:00am
    • Sessions 2: 1:00pm
  • Day 2 - Wednesday March 11th
    • Session 1: 11:00am
    • Sessions 2: 1:00pm
      • Candidate and/or campaign manager must attend orientation*
      • Make-up orientation: done upon appointment with the Chair of Elections if needed*
      • Both located in the Pasadena Room in the East Conference Center

 

Start of Campaign period - Thursday March 12th,

  • Candidate may ONLY begin campaign after they are confirmed eligible to run for office and have attended the mandatory orientation

 

Debate - Tuesday March 24th, 3:00pm at the Northridge Center in the University Student Union

  • President and Vice President candidates MUST attend. All other candidates are recommended to attend. 

 

Voting:

Voting Opens - Tuesday April 7th, 2026 at 8:00am

Voting Closes - Thursday April 9th at 6:00pm

  • Tuesday April 7th from 8:00am to 6:00pm
    • Location 1 - Campus Store
    • Location 2 - Cleary Walk
    • Location 3 - Library Lawn
  • Wednesday April 8th from 8:00am to 6:00pm
    • Location 1 - Library Lawn
    • Location 2 - Plaza del Sol
    • Location 3 - Campus Store
  • Thursday April 9th from 8:00am to 6:00pm
    • Location 1 - Library Lawn
    • Location 2 - Plaza del Sol
    • Location 3 - Campus Store

Election Results Reveal and Mixer - Thursday April 9th at 6:30pm at the Grand Salon

Financial/Donation Disclosure Forms Due - Friday April 10th by 4:00pm

Club Competition:

Club Competition Participant Cut-off - Sunday March 1st, 2026 at 11:59pm

  • Club or organization must be University and AS recognized and have a current agency account with AS to participate in the Club competition

Street Team:

Street Team Filing Opens - Friday February 27th at 8:00am

  • All street team members must file online

Street Team Filing Closes - Friday March 13th at 6:00pm

Mandatory Orientation - Friday March 20th at 11:00am in the Thousand Oaks Room in the USU

  • Street team member must attend orientation
  • Make-up orientation done upon appointment with the Assistant Chair of Elections if needed
