Academic Dean Profiles

As a member of CSUN’s senior academic team, each dean is the chief administrator of their respective college. Reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the dean oversees departments and programs in the college and fosters academic excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship. The dean implements a broad range of administrative duties, including budgeting, personnel management, developing and maintaining relationships with external organizations and the community, and seeking external support for the college. The dean also leads important efforts to foster justice and belonging within the college, in support of CSUN’s Road Map to the Future.
