Background Check Policy Information Sessions

On August 3, 2015 the new CSU system-wide policy on background checks became effective, requiring all new employees (and a number of other positions) to complete a background check prior to starting employment. The CSU system-wide policy on background checks was developed to provide directives and guidance on background checks which are critical in preventing risk and providing protection to campus employees, students, volunteers, and guests.

Kristina de la Vega, Associate Vice President of Human Resources and Mika Williamson, Director of Recruitment Services and Compensation will be providing two final Information Sessions on the provisions of the Background Check Policy and impacts to current CSUN processes managers and hiring personnel need to be aware of. The following sessions will be held in Noski Auditorium:

Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
or
Friday, August 21, 2015 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

1 hour has been allotted for each information session in order to provide time for discussion and questions. Please come to learn about the new process required for all new employee hires!
