When you have successfully applied for a staff or management position at CSUN, you will receive an automatically-generated email confirming our receipt of your application. If you do not receive an email from Human Resources within 24 hours of your submission, contact our office for assistance.  There is no process for walk-in or mail applications.


TIPS FOR UPLOADING ATTACHMENTS: 
Documents with long names, certain special characters, and in formats other than PDF (.pdf) and WORD (.doc) may error out, and we will not be able to process your application. Please see tips below for uploading your attachment(s):

  1. PDF is the preferred file format.  Convert a Word (.doc) file to PDF if it contains a table, chart, special fonts/formatting, and/or graphics/images.
  2. Limit the file name of your resume and other attachments to under 25 characters in length (ex. JohndoeResume.pdf).
  3. Be sure not to include any special characters such as periods, commas, apostrophes, dashes, parenthesis, or spaces in your document title. 
  4. Transcripts, Degrees or License/Certificates taken directly from the providing institution’s website may contain encrypted information; if you are going to attach these types of documents, it is best to print, re-scan and save the document as a PDF prior to uploading to our applicant system.
