Child and Family Studies Center

OVERVIEW

The Child and Family Studies Center has a long and proud history as a laboratory school and is accredited by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  Since our inception, the CFS Center has provided opportunities for the observation of children, practice teaching, and research by college faculty and students.  We have been serving the CSUN community and families since 1967 as an instructional unit of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences (formerly Home Economics Department and Family Environmental Sciences.)
