Requirements
CCE is a highly flexible minor that enables you to design a course of study that matches your interests. It consists of 18 units. All students must complete CCE 200: Introduction to Civic and Community Engagement (3 units) and CCE 490: Capstone Seminar in Civic and Community Engagement (3 units).
In addition to the two core courses, students will complete 12 units that focus on a particular theme or discipline, including 3 units classified as community service or fieldwork.
You can apply courses in a General Education Path (http://www.csun.edu/undergraduate-studies/ge-paths) toward a CCE minor, or create your own theme or discipline in consultation with the Program Director.
