Community Organization Partner Interests

HERE Center Community Organizations Partners would like to:

  • Become part of a CSUN Community-Academic Partnership Directory
  • Work collaboratively for health equity in the San Fernando Valley
  • Collaborate with faculty members on research projects
  • Recruite CSUN students for internships and research opportunities
  • Work with CSUN academic classes to complete community projects with a purpose

Community Partner Opportunities

HERE Center Community Organizations Partners can:

  • Apply for competitive opportunities like pilot projects for research partnerships
  • Attend events that have a limited capacity (e.g., the Grant Writer’s Seminars and Workshops)
  • Participate in smaller, face-to-face networking events to establish faculty and student collaborations
  • Serve on an advisory board who suggest general areas of interest for HERE Center programs and activities, serves as a resource for the Director in making decisions regarding HERE Center activities and expenditures, and receives, reviews, and discusses the annual report with the Co-Directors
