Jennifer Camacho

Lecturer AY, MS, 2025, CSUN in Kinesiology/Dance

Jennifer "Jenny" Camacho is a dance artist, educator, choreographer, and dance scientist. A multiple national champion in jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip-hop, she has performed with the Martha Graham Company for their 100th anniversary; at halftime shows for the LA Clippers, Harlem Globetrotters, and Chivas; and opened for the Plain White T’s. She has also choreographed across a variety of dance styles for performances and competitions. Jenny has taught dancers of all ages at various dance studios, Downey High School, and CSUN. She emphasizes artistic movement grounded in proper anatomy, helping dancers enhance performance while supporting prehabilitation, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Jenny has presented research at the 2025 IADMS Conference in Las Vegas and continues to work in dance science labs, focusing on biomechanics, psychophysiology, and psychology to explore the mind-body connection in dancers.


Joanne DiVito

Lecturer AY, BA, 2008, Saint-Mary’s College of California in Liberal Arts.

She has taught ballet, jazz, and pedagogy at CSUN since 2008. She has a long and diverse professional career that included performing as a demi-soloist with the Illinois Ballet Company and dancer on multiple Broadway shows. She was a director and choreographer of over 100 commercials, Broadway projects, films, television, and music videos. She was an Emmy nominee and awarded the Professional Dancers Society’s Gypsy Robe, and the Los Angeles Dance Festival Service to the Field Award - Rise of the Female. As a producer, she helped direct, stage and/or choreograph Off Broadway, stage, television, and industrial shows. She worked as a talent agent for Bobby Ball Agency and directed the West Coast Office of Career Transition for Dancers. Concurrent to her teaching career at CSUN, Joanne is a writer and reviewer of dance for the Dance Chronicle, is a judge for the Music Center’s Spotlight Awards, and an Audio Describer for the Blind at major theaters in Southern California.


Jacqueline Eusanio

Lecturer AY, MS, 2010, CSUN in Kinesiology/Dance

She is a professional dancer and has performed with AMAN International Folk Ensemble, LA Music Center Opera, Opera Pacific, Tag Taguiped’s International Show, and Perfumes of Araby. She is trained in the following dance styles; Middle Eastern, Spanish Flamenco, Polynesian, Ballroom, Folk, Latin. She is an adjunct lecturer at CSUN, College of the Canyons, LA Pierce College, and LA Valley College. She is Assistant Director for the LA Pierce College Folk Dance Concerts.


Wendy Hassenpflug

Lecturer AY, MS, 2011, CSUN in Kinesiology/Dance

As an educator for over 25 years, she has taught dance and kinesiology at the high school level for ten years, higher education for ten years, and over 25 years in a broad range of private sector programs. Her wellness background includes certifications in Pilates, yoga, personal training, holistic nutrition, and is founder of Vayu Yoga®, a therapeutic aerial yoga practice. She was a professional dancer for Kit Andree Company Dancer, WFL San Antonio Gold Dust Girl, Le Jazz Noir Company Dancer, and Martin Dancers. She is a published author of two textbooks on yoga and modern dance.


Annie Kahane

Lecturer AY, MFA, 2022 University of California, Los Angeles Department of World Arts & Cultures/Dance; BA 2010 Northwestern University.

Annie Kahane is a performer, educator and art-maker working in poetry, dance, song and theater. She founded her company, Alive & Well Productions, in 2014 to unify these disciplines under a single creative umbrella. Her performances projects have been supported by New Music USA, The San Francisco International Arts Festival, The Odyssey Theater (Los Angeles), the Zellerbach Family Foundation, ODC Theater (San Francisco), the Kenneth Rainin Foundation, the Hollywood Fringe Festival, PUSHfest Dance Festival and the UC-AFT Union's Professional Development Fund. Her poetry has been featured on multiple NPR stations. Prior to joining the faculty at CSUN's Department of Kinesiology/Dance, she taught at UCLA's Department of World Arts & Cultures/Dance (2022-2025) as well as in the Theatre Department's at CSUN and Pepperdine University. 

 


Madison Schneider

Lecturer AY, MS, 2025, CSUN in Kinesiology/Dance

Madison "Maddie" Schneider is a freelance dance artist, choreographer, and educator in the Los Angeles area. She is passionate about bridging the art and science of dance as she enjoys sharing her research experience and anatomical knowledge with her students. Maddie is an active researcher in the Kinesiology Department, her area of interest lies within increasing sensory function and proprioceptive awareness in dancers. Additionally, Maddie has extensive training experience under J.M. Rodriguez, Gracie Whyte, Laura Berg, Paula Thomson, Dasha Tertova, FLOCKWorks, Eisenhower Dance Detroit, Volta Collective, Marc Spaulding, Genevieve Carson, and Kyle McHargh. She has performed for LA Graham 100, Santa Clarita Symphony, Cantinas Arts Foundation, Orange County Dance Festival, LA Getty Museum, and Choreographer’s Carnival. With a proficient movement vocabulary and choreographic voice in concert dance styles, Maddie’s work can be found in dance festivals, church services, and college settings including CSUN and Cal Lutheran University. Maddie looks forward to providing each student with a warm and nurturing experience to challenge their creative threshold while catering to individual goals.
