The department of Kinesiology at CSUN is at the forefront in the study of human movement. We offer a comprehensive education toward the Bachelor and Master of Science degrees with the newest and most comprehensive facilities in the CSU system.

Dance Programs

The Dance Program offers three pathways in which undergraduate students can study dance. The Kinesiology Department also offers a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with a Dance Option.

Dancer Audition - Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 7 to 9 pm in Redwood Hall 292 (Open to all CSUN students)

Selected Choreographers Audition - Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm in Redwood Hall 292

Kinesis, Spring Dance Concert Featuring Undergraduate Choreography - April 22, 2026 at 7:30 pm and April 23, 2026 at 2 pm & 7:30 pm in Plaza Del Sol Theater

Kinesis, Annual Spring Dance Concert held on April 22 at 7:30 pm and April 23 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm at the Plaza Del Sol. Tickets are $10 for students and $20 for adults. Black and white photo of contemporary dancer with red lettering of Kinesis.
