Faculty Mentoring Program
The GRAD Center’s Faculty Mentoring Program supports CSUN students who are preparing for or currently applying to graduate school and do not already have a faculty mentor through another campus program.
Participants are paired with a CSUN faculty member who offers guidance, encouragement, and resources throughout the graduate application process. Matching typically takes about a month, after which you’ll receive an email with next steps.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, pending available funding.
Resources
Please review the following requirements carefully before completing your application:
- You must submit both an application and a one-page cover letter to be considered for the program.
- Students will be accepted on a rolling basis, depending on funding availability, to ensure continued support.
- You must acknowledge and commit to all program requirements.
- You must confirm that you are not currently enrolled in a program that provides a faculty mentor to support you through the graduate school application process.
- You must Upload your one-page cover letter to the Box Folder below, using the following file naming format: FirstName_LastName_FM_AY2025–2026
