URGENT: 2025 Commencement Ticketing and Name Verification FINAL REMINDER

Hello Graduate,

As we approach your commencement ceremony, we want to share important information with you. Please read this email carefully to ensure you have all the necessary details.

NOTE: If you are not planning to participate in commencement, disregard this email.


COMMENCEMENT TICKETS:
This is your FINAL REMINDER to claim your commencement tickets and record your name pronunciation. The deadline is today, April 11th, 2025, at 11:59 pm. After this, any unclaimed tickets will be lost. Extra ticket requests will be announced by Tuesday, April 15th, 2025.

Graduates from the following semesters — Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 — are required to complete this form in order to participate in the Spring 2025 Commencement ceremonies taking place this May.

Fall 2025 students who have received approval through the early participation appeal process must also complete this form to confirm their participation.

NOTE: Be sure to check your Tassel account to confirm that you have added, downloaded, or printed your GradPass and that all guest tickets claimed are available in your account.

To complete the Ticketing & Name Verification form, please log into your Tassel account.

NAME VERIFICATION VS. NAME ON YOUR DEGREE:
By submitting your name verification on Tassel, you are changing how your name will be announced and displayed during the Commencement Ceremonies. Changing your name on the Tassel Account does not change the name on your degree. To change the name on your degree, please complete one of the following forms:

HONORS CONVOCATION INVITATIONS/TICKETS:
If you qualify for Honors (Scholastic or Personal Achievement), you will receive a formal invitation and ticketing information at the end of April. For details on Honors Convocation, please visit our website.

CEREMONY INFORMATION/CEREMONY COMMENCEMENT HANDBOOK:
You will receive a detailed email the week of your ceremony with information on check-in locations, guest entrances, parking, ticketing, and more. In the meantime, please refer to our commencement handbook for any questions or concerns:
