CSUN SSH Server

What is the SSH server?

The SSH server provides students, faculty, and staff with secure shell read/write access to the campus WebDrive and UDrive environments. Once connected, students may also access a variety of compliers on the SSH server (as noted below) to complete course assignments across select disciplines.  The campus secure shell server can be accessed from on- and off-campus without connecting to the campus Virtual Private Network (VPN).

How do I access CSUN's SSH server?

Use your preferred SSH client and connect to ssh.csun.edu on port 22. To authenticate, use your CSUN user ID and password. If you need help, contact the IT Help Center.
