Northridge — The University Student Union (USU) welcomes new and returning Matadors back to campus with its exciting annual celebration, “Spring Kickoff”. On Thursday, Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., students can head over to Plaza del Sol in the USU where free food, awesome games and activities, exclusive giveaways and live entertainment await!
“Coming back from the holidays and jumping right into school can be a stressful time for students,” said Audrey Martinez, USU Events Manager. “‘Spring Kickoff’ is here to make that transition easier. Free food, entertainment, fun activities – we want students to feel pumped for the new semester!”
All Matadors that come by “Spring Kickoff” can play cool games like giant Jenga or shoot some free throws at the inflatable basketball hoop. After playing, they can move to the groove, listening to catchy beats spun by DJ Malski. Students at “Spring Kickoff” also have the opportunity to win some free CSUN gear with giveaways being held throughout the event. They can also sit back and relax with some delicious food, while enjoying live entertainment.
