CSU COVID-19 Vaccination Policy:

As a condition of employment, all employees need to certify vaccination status by attesting you are fully vaccinated, need a medical exemption, need a religious exemption, or are not working on campus.   You can obtain more information about or access the full interim vaccination policy here. Please certify as soon as you have access to the portal.

Weekly COVID-19 testing is required for ALL employees unless you pro-actively opt out by self-certifying in the myNorthridge portal you are fully vaccinated; employees with medical or religious exemptions need to participate in weekly COVID-19 testing.

Any candidates advanced in a currently open search process should be prepared to comply with this requirement.

When you have successfully applied for a staff or management position at CSUN, you will receive an automatically-generated email confirming our receipt of your application. If you do not receive an email from Human Resources within 24 hours of your submission, contact our office for assistance.  There is no process for walk-in or mail applications.


TIPS FOR UPLOADING ATTACHMENTS: 
Documents with long names, certain special characters, and in formats other than PDF (.pdf) and WORD (.doc) may error out, and we will not be able to process your application. Please see tips below for uploading your attachment(s):

  1. PDF is the preferred file format.  Convert a Word (.doc) file to PDF if it contains a table, chart, special fonts/formatting, and/or graphics/images.
  2. Limit the file name of your resume and other attachments to under 25 characters in length (ex. JohndoeResume.pdf).
  3. Be sure not to include any special characters such as periods, commas, apostrophes, dashes, parenthesis, or spaces in your document title. 
  4. Transcripts, Degrees or License/Certificates taken directly from the providing institution’s website may contain encrypted information; if you are going to attach these types of documents, it is best to print, re-scan and save the document as a PDF prior to uploading to our applicant system.
