Moving Forward Together: Steps Towards Unlearning Colonial Ideologies in Higher Education

The University Student Union invites all Matadors to unite for Moving Forward Together: Steps Towards Unlearning Colonial Ideologies in Higher Education — an opportunity to discuss the widespread effects of colonization and the importance of decolonizing our minds, education and power while acknowledging varying experiences of diasporic communities. This proactive virtual gathering is the perfect place to collectively acknowledge our power and environment while building a deeper sense of community. We’ll use this space to honor and uplift indigenous sovereignty while unlearning harmful colonial ideologies and moving towards anti-racism framework.

Register for this event now, then join us on Thursday, Oct. 14 via Zoom to discover this safe, healing space at Moving Forward Together: Steps Towards Unlearning Colonial Ideologies in Higher Education — presented by your University Student Union … Where Matadors Belong.
