WHY: A special opportunity for LGBTQIA+ students of color to share their experiences, ideas and personal feelings about how their intersecting identities impact the way they move through society.
BACKGROUND: The Pride Center has created a learning, healing and safe space for all queer and trans Matadors of color to take a step back from the complexities of a white heteronormative society and just be themselves. “The Lavender Takeover” will alternate between being open for everyone to join and closed for QTPOC folks to have their own space. RSVP forms for each session will be open on a rolling basis. For more details on the event, please visit csun.edu/pride.
