About Us

Mission Statement

The Pride Center supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQIA+) students, faculty and staff through programming and educational outreach to improve the campus climate for LGBTQIA+ individuals as well as advocate for the respect and safety of all members of the campus community.

Sarina LoebSarina Loeb
Manager, Pride Center

Sarina Loeb is the coordinator of the Pride Center and LGBTQIA+ initiatives. She oversees the programs and services offered through the Pride Center, including the LGBTQIA+ Peer Mentor Program.

Prior to her position at the Pride Center, Sarina worked as the Coordinator for Diversity Initiatives helping with the development of the Pride Center and Veterans Resource Center at CSUN. She began at CSUN as a graduate student studying college counseling and student services over three years ago and is dedicated to growing LGBTQIA+ visibility and support on campus.

Sarina received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in women’s and gender studies from Sonoma State University (SSU). In addition, she was active in the LGBTQIA+ community at SSU, with involvement in the Safe Zone Program, the LGBTQIA+ student organization, and initiatives to develop a LGBTQIA+ center.
