ACCT 350 Intermediate Financial Accounting I

VERY IMPORTANT:  Select the "REQUEST A PERMISSION NUMBER" link.  If you select the "accountancy application" link, your request will NOT be reviewed.

FALL 2026 DATES FOR ACCT 350 PERMISSION NUMBER REQUESTS

(Applications submitted before July 28, 2026 will not be approved.)

July 28: The priority period begins for requests from students taking ACCT 350 for the first time who have both an overall and CSUN (if any) GPA of 3.2 or higher.

July 29: The priority period ends.

July 30: The normal period begins for requests from students who have both an overall and CSUN (if any) GPA of 3.0 or higher, and eligible students repeating ACCT 350.

August 3: Deadline (11:59 PM) to submit requests. Approved students will receive an email with a permission number.

August 4: Deadline (11:59 PM) to submit evidence of prerequisite grades. Warning: If a prerequisite course is taken during the summer and you won’t receive your grade before the August 4 deadline to submit evidence of prerequisite grades, you won’t be approved.

August 5: Deadline (11:59 PM) to use permission numbers that were issued on or before August 5.

 

ACCT 498A EY Leadership Seminar

Students enrolling in ACCT 350 are strongly encouraged to enroll in ACCT 498A concurrently to maximize their professional development, expand their industry network, and gain valuable insights from accounting professionals early in their academic journey.

Enhance your professional and leadership skills by enrolling in the EY Leadership Seminar ACCT 498C course, a unique one-unit course presented by professionals from Ernst & Young (EY), one of the world´s leading accounting and consulting firms. 

Meeting Thursdays from 5.00 – 6.00 pm online, the seminar features engaging presentations and discussions on a variety of leadership and career-development topics, including effective communication, personal branding, teamwork, networking, interviewing skills, professional ethics, and emerging trends in the profession.

This course provides students with valuable opportunities to interact directly with EY partners, managers and other industry professionals, gain insight into successful career paths, and develop the leadership competencies sought by employers.

Students who actively participate in the seminar will also receive an EY Leadership Certificate upon completion.  There are no exams or assignments associated with this seminar course.  Students are strongly encouraged to attend each session and actively participate in discussions to gain the maximum benefit from the professional insights, career guidance, and networking opportunities provided by our guest speakers from EY.

This seminar is an excellent opportunity to build your network, strengthen your leadership skills, and prepare for future success.
