New Canvas Quizzes Pilot Group

Instructure has released “New Quizzes”, which is a new quizzing tool for Canvas that offers new features and new types of questions. The Faculty Technology Center is happy to announce a New Quizzes Pilot Program set to launch in the Spring 2022 Semester for faculty interested in learning about and using New Quizzes in their Canvas course.

During the pilot program, participants will meet with an Instructional Technologist once a month and attend 1 monthly meeting with all participants. Participants will also create “low-stakes” quizzes using the New Quizzes feature and administer it to students in their courses during the Spring 2022 Semester.

The pilot will be limited to 12 faculty participants to ensure everyone gets the necessary help and attention and offers a $1,500 stipend.

If you would like to participate in the pilot program, please let us know by January 21st, 2022. With the first meeting taking place in February 2022.

Ensure your Spring syllabus is accessible and earn a stipend through this four-day workshop Jan. 11-14th, 10-11:30am each day. The Accessibility Bootcamp covers best practices, tips, and the core tools and campus resources available to make documents, videos, and other course materials more accessible. Featured tools include Canvas Ally, which aids in identifying accessibility challenges in your course materials in Canvas.
