MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the California State University, Northridge Department of Police Services Crime Prevention Unit is to foster long-term partnerships between the community and law enforcement for the purpose of reducing the risk of victimization and strengthening trust within the campus community. To achieve this mission, the Crime Prevention Unit will maintain a highly visible presence within the community providing quality services, crime prevention programs, resources and educational opportunities that promote personal safety and the protection of property.
