This session is offered by San Diego State University, participating with Northridge in a Professional & Personal Development Cross Campus Collaboration program.

Colleagues attending this session may hail from the Chancellor’s Office, Bakersfield, Channel Islands, Chico, East Bay, Fresno, Fullerton, Humboldt, Long Beach, Monterey Bay,  Pomona, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, San Marcos, Sonoma, and Stanislaus. 

Description:

Even with extensive preparation and structure, sometimes people say or do things that offend or hurt others so it is also important to plan how you might respond in those moments. In this workshop, we will discuss strategies for facilitating productive group interactions and for responding with compassion when those interactions go astray.
