Dr. James Chong brings industry and academic experience to his research in the econometrics of investment assets and has extensive academic publications. His current research emphasizes how proper portfolio construction can better manage risk exposures in corporate and personal portfolios. He received his undergraduate qualification in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), an M.S. in Finance from Lancaster University (U.K.) , an M.S. in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, and his Ph.D. in Finance from the ICMA Centre, the University of Reading (U.K.). Dr. James Chong joined CSUN in 2003.
