Professor Covrig's primary research interests are in international finance, investments and portfolio management. His recent research has focused on the home bias of international investors and the trading characteristics of institutional investors. Professor Covrig has published in several journals, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Empirical Finance, the Journal of Futures Markets, among others. He served as a consultant to the Thailand Securities Analysts Association, and taught in professional programs in Singapore. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
