Matafest Offers a One-Stop Resource Fair With a Side of Games, Prizes and Free Food

Northridge — The University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students to Matafest at the Plaza del Sol and Grand Salon on Thursday, Sept. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Matadors can learn how the USU supports them while playing fun games, winning prizes and enjoying free food. 

“The USU is here to bring fun and empowerment to CSUN students with our programs and resources,” said USU Student Programs Assistant Luis Hernandez. “We are excited to connect with incoming and continuing students and showcase the variety resources we offer to help them succeed during their CSUN journey.” 

During this exciting resource fair, students will be introduced to the USU’s valuable resource centers including the Pride Center, DREAM Center, Veterans Resource Center, Computer Lab, Games Room, Oasis Wellness Center, Student Recreation Center, Human Resources, Reservations and Events Services, Marketing, Black Student Success Initiatives, Diversity and Inclusion and the Board of Directors. Matadors can even snack on free food and engage in fun activities like Spin the Wheel and Ring Toss to win sweet prizes such as plushies, keychains and gift cards.
